With her sultry tones and soulful singing, Edie Daponte is establishing a reputation within the music scene of Vancouver Island and mainland BC as a dynamic and engaging performer, resulting in her winning “Jazz Recording of the Year” for her original song “Island Rain” and a nomination as "Vocalist of the Year 2016" by the Vancouver Island Music Awards.

While a regular performer in her home town of Sidney as the house singer for the Beacon Landing, Edie has enjoyed performing at numerous venues, private functions and festivals. Emotive and passionate, Edie's voice lends itself perfectly to a wide range of jazz standards, seamlessly moving from Bossa Nova to Jazz and back again, switching between Portuguese, Spanish and French numbers.

You’ll find Edie accompanied by the talented TL Douglas on guitar. Award winning Latin guitarist TL Douglas combines Salsa, Jazz, Flamenco and Pop to create a unique musical experience.

TL Douglas is one of Canada's premiere guitarists. He has performed across North America, from intimate rooms to large festival stages. Corporate clients have also embraced his music.

Together Edie and Douglas create a wonderful atmosphere, engaging audiences large and small drawing audiences in and rewarding them with the classic numbers they love to hear.
