Live All-Ages Concert - The Day He Quit, Gold & Shadow, Chris Arruda & Johnny Good

For those of you who missed out on the Van Isle Throwdown, it was one heck of a 2-day music extravaganza in Nanaimo BC. We were happy to hit the stage on day one for the first time in nearly nine months. The crowd's energy was unsurpassed, and we were grateful for it. However, this support made it that much harder to share our breaking news. Midway through our performance, to much outcry, we announced the end of The Day He Quit.
There are numerous reasons for this decision, but we have been a band for several years, and the simplest explaination is that the time has come. We are all moving in different directions, which is bound to happen as we age. It's been a great 7 year stint, and we're thankful for every ounce of support we've received from our fans, peers, and friends.
We have two final shows booked in our hometown:
Saturday July 6th - All Ages - The Bailey Theatre
featuring Gold & Shadow, Chris Arruda & Johnny Good.
Doors at 5:30pm, show goes till around 11pm.
This is a seated show, tickets available from Arbutus Music & Harbour City Music.
$15 advance, $15 at the door if they're still available.
Saturday July 27th - 19+ - The Cambie
featuring The 80th Action, and No Operator (Acoustic)
This will be the fifth, and final annual pirate show on Bathtub Weekend.
Expect laughter, tears, costumes, prizes, and lots of fun. Stay tuned for details about both of these shows to follow.
Also, we were just in the studio tracking a few new tracks, which we will be giving away electronically once they are done. To ensure you get a copy, sign up for our mailing list on our website!
