Literary Tapas: Readings by Arleen Pare, Susan Musgrave, Tricia Dower, Bill Gaston, and Anakana Schofield. Fill your senses with readings by five extraordinary West Coast writers. Novels, short fiction, poetry and hybridized true stories - a delectable assortment of flavours. You�ll get a satisfying taste of it all.
7:30 p.m.

Step Into the Ring Write-Off: Sharpen your pencils for an on-the-spot writing slam. Three events (the five-minute haiku, ten-minute obscure poetic form, 25-minute free verse using given words). Winner takes home $200. Festival Pass or $3 at the door for a night of hijinx. 7:30 p.m.

Reception: Following Step Into The Ring and Literary Tapas, mix and mingle, get your new books signed by their authors, have a glass of wine, sway to jazz. 9:00 p.m.

All events take place at Camosun College, most in the Gibson Auditorium. All cost $10 ($8 for students), except Step Into the Ring and Meet the Creators, which are only $3.
