Presented by TheJumpGroup.ca “A Winter Fantasy” – Liona Boyd Liona Boyd, accompanied by Andrew Dolson… …two guitars and two voices With Special Guests: the Courtenay Elementary choir and the Miracle Beach Elementary choir Liona Boyd, Andrew Dolson, the Courtenay Elementary choir, and the Miracle Beach Elementary choir will create a magical evening performing well-loved Christmas music interwoven with Liona’s original pieces, many of which feature on her album A Winter Fantasy.

This is Liona’s third Christmas album and her favourite to date. The program includes such favourites as “Silent Night”, “The Huron Carol”, “Coventry Carol” “Good King Wenseslas”, “We Three Kings”, “O Holy Night” and Liona’s Caribbean flavoured, “Christmas Dreams”. They will also perform a few selections from her patriotic album, The Return…to Canada with Love. Both children and adults are encouraged to attend. After all it was the Christmas gift of a Spanish guitar that inspired Liona to fall in love with the instrument that has taken her all over the world.

This is Liona’s first tour with her latest musical discovery: the wonderful singer and guitarist Andrew Dolson who will entrance the audience with his appearance (at 25, Andrew is also a model), and his powerful and expressive voice. Both Liona and Andrew greatly look forward to returning to BC and meeting with patrons after the concerts.
