If you�ve never felt totally comfortable at a �meet and greet� or �networking� occasion, the Chamber of Commerce has something for you. Introvert or extrovert, seasoned schmoozer or wallflower, learn how to increase business leads, have fun at business socials and improve your networking and communications skills!
VSP Media and the Greater Nanaimo Chamber of Commerce invite you to WORK THAT ROOM! at the first �Lightning Talks� event
The evening opens with a no-host bar and casual meeting time to network with the presenters. Then, Lightning Talks kicks off with four fast-paced sessions � Work That Room � Networking Basics with David Hatchman of VSP Media; Comprendo/No Comprendo � Networking with ESL clients and colleagues with Gavin McConnell of VIU; Elevator Up! � Nick West of Enable Business Consulting teaches how to create an infomercial for yourself; and �Who Was That Guy� with Sean Hildebrandt of Steve Marshall Ford and his �Zigster� persona.
There will also be Lightning Infomercials and Lightning Evaluations as part of the high-energy quasi-workshop speed networking evening. Afterwards you can immediately practice what you�ve learned with continued networking in the lobby. Networking portions of the evening feature a no-host bar and live music with Dave Hart.
