Drawing the human figure has always been the cornerstone of artistic training but it can often feel like an elusive goal... Not any longer! Join us and immerse yourself in this week-long intensive figure drawing workshop that is designed specifically for your success.

Brian’s teaching style is to help you “see” and he accomplishes this by constantly circling the room to provide guidance and feedback to you all day, every day. Brian will present quick demonstrations each day and will lead you thru a series of innovative exercises beginning with simple “stick-figure” style gesture drawings then progressing to well observed contour line drawings.

By the end of the week, you’ll be successfully rendering the figure, made full and round by the learned observation of seeing light and shadow. There will be daily critiques and a few short slideshow presentations for even more inspiration!
