The ancient Mayas created the most highly advance civilization in the Western hemisphere and then their impressive cities were mysteriously abandoned. What happened to these people? What was their daily and political life like? Before the last couple of decades so little was known about their history and culture. What historians did know about the Maya civilization came from what remained of Maya architecture and art and other archeological diggings. Thankfully, in the last decade, especially, there has been significant advancement in understanding the hieroglyph writings which thus increased dramatically information about these ancient people. My work is dedicated to the wisdom, spirituality, scientific and cultural accomplishments of these ancient peoples through my research and books.
