An afternoon making a wonderful mess! We will be making monoprints by experimenting with different tools, everything from chopsticks to vegetable netting, making designs in acrylic paint on a gelatin plate.

Thick lush colour prints are created as the layers add up. While these are drying, we will play around with paste paper – a traditional way of creating unique papers. Paint is added to a mixture of cooked flour paste and then, by using a variety of tools, marks and designs are made on the paper. You will leave with a great supply of unique papers to use in your own art projects.
