add to outlook add to google calendar remind me
Many people from across BC have expressed concern about the expansion of oil and gas developments in our province for many environmental, social and economic reasons. We hear lots about what we don’t want, but what are the alternatives?
This public talk featuring Guy Dauncey from the BC Sustainable Energy Association and UVic researchers Dr. Andrew Rowe and Sahand Behboodi from UVic Mechanical Engineering will explore the possibilities for transitioning BC to a renewable energy region – if, how and when could it happen? What are the technical, economic, social and political pieces that must be in place?
Moderated by Green Party MLA Andrew Weaver. 7 to 9 PM, HHB 105.
