Learn to Make: Bamboo Leggings

Have you ever wanted to create your own organic cotton or bamboo leggings? Want leggings in the length if your choice? It's so easy.... you just need to be shown the way!

This wonderful workshop will take you through the process of a basic pair from start to finish. You’ll begin by choosing your fabrics from a selection of colours and cutting out in your chosen size. We’ll then show you how to construct your garments using a serger along and apply the elastics with a sewing machine. This workshop is 3 hours long designed for students with some sewing experience. The group size is a maximum of 5 students so you will receive plenty of one to one help. You will complete 1 pair of leggings during this workshop and leave with a copy of the pattern and the knowledge of how to make your own future pairs. These skills will also allow you to hem legging from your current wardrobe to the desired length.

Once you've completed this workshop - you can take advantage of our drop in sewing times. You can cut out your leggings at home get them started and bring them into the studio to use the serger.
