WHITEY SOMERS BAND - Since the age of 16 guitarist, Motorhome Records recording artist Whiey Somers has been  preforminginternationally at festivals, concerts and clubs, on the bill with many talented musicians such as Rick Fines, Stephen Fearing, Jeff Healy, Harpdog Brown, David Essig, David Vest and Wicked Grin to name a few.  There's been a lot of shows over the last 40 years.  Whitey currently perfomrs solo accoustic shows, with "Whitey Somers Band" and as guitarist for "Blue Dog Ramble".  As a side man and session player Whitey has worked with many great artists over the years.  As a side man and session player Whitey hs worked with many great artists over the years.  Whitey Somer's lastes album "Down That Road" released in Feb of 2019 is currently in rotation worldwide.

Steeped in traditional early electric Blues, this group's song selection draws from a wide range of Early Electric Blues Greats, plus many original tunes as well! At the nucleous of the South Island Rhythm Kings is the Father/Son team of Lazy MIKE MALLON on Vocals and Harmonica, and CARSON MALLON on Guitar and Vocals, creating a musical bond and a their spin on Down home, Traditional Blues.With their good friend, and long time colaborator DAN "Piano Dano" DUBE' on Keys adding some Blues seasoning, RICKY RENOUF layin' it down on Stand Up Bass, and the "Groove Doctor" NICK DOKTER on Drums, all locking in to drive the bottom end and forge the band's DOWNHOME ROCKIN' BLUES sound!
