BLUEGRASS FOR ALL OCCASIONS THE LAWNDOGS play a lively mix of progressive bluegrass music that is rooted in tight vocal harmonies and a pure sense of fun. Their music is influenced by the legendary sounds of Hot Rize, The Seldom Scene, and other contemporary bluegrass bands who have charted a path between tradition and innovation over the years. The LawnDogs have been together since 2001 and make their home up and down the Sea-to-Sky corridor from Bowen Island to Squamish, BC. ‘Making Tracks’ is the band’s first collection of hand-picked tunes recorded under the masterful direction of Archie Pateman and Corwin Fox.
