What would the Christmas season be without a traditional pantomime? This is the tale of Ali Baba, a poor Persian boy who wants to marry the slave girl. He can’t afford to buy her freedom. That is until he discovers the way into a secret cave holding the treasure of the evil Mustapha Leik. The path to happy-ever-after is strewn with disasters, laughter, singing – both from the cast and occasionally joined in by the audience, shouts of “He’s behind you” and an outrageous dame - Mum Baba.
