The Port Theatre’s OFFstage Lobby Theatre Series, presented in partnership with TheatreOne and Nanaimo Fringe, is a captivating collection of bold and provocative performances held in The Port Theatre lobby. Each evening includes complimentary pre-show treats in our lobby thanks to The Vault Café at 7pm. After the performance stay for post-show chats with the artists.
Award-winning writer and performer, Ivan Coyote delivers a heartfelt and heartbreaking show that opens with the death of a beloved matriarch, and touches on subjects like the dynamics of small town big families and being an ex-Catholic queer. Ivan’s performance leaves us all asking ourselves what we truly inherit from the blood that runs in our veins. Ivan will be joined by singer-songwriter, record producer and multi-instrumentalist Jon Wood.
