We are thrilled to announce the line up of the second annual Koksilah Music Festival taking place Sept 7-9 in Quw’utsun Territory at Tl’ulpalus (Cowichan Bay, BC). Once again, our lineup is full of incredible Indigenous musicians, artists, and speakers from the resurgence movement as well as phenomenally talented non-Indigenous performers from around the Pacific Northwest. 2018 will be lit - we cannot wait to see you on the Festival grounds.

Koksilah Music Festival is organized in recognition and celebration of the sovereignty and resiliency of Indigenous Nations throughout BC. Koksilah's intention is to highlight the perspectives of Indigenous musicians, artists, activists and knowledge keepers. We are partnered with Quw’utsun elders and traditional leaders to ensure that this festival gathering reflects proper protocols and is accessible to the local Indigenous community.

All festival proceeds will be donated to grassroots initiatives led by Indigenous people asserting sovereignty over their ancestral territories. Funds will be split between the Sul'Hween Quw'ustun Elders Program, Awinakola Warriors & Stand With Us To Cleanse Our Waters, and Unist'ot'en Camp. These groups are working tirelessly to re-occupy and protect their traditional lands and waters, revitalize their cultural practices, and reconnect people with the land.
