� 'Kite over Moon' is a blending of Kiting, an ancient Chinese art form, and simply fun thing to do, which has been adopted in North America also as a recreational activity that can be enjoyed by the whole family, as well as the Chinese Moon Festival (or Mid-Autumn Festival) which this year is on the 19th of September.

Our schedule of activities includes kite flying, of course, open to the public and Kite proficianados to display special kites all the way from China, give demonstrations, talk, include live Web stream, about the Kites in China, and give a pointer or two.

There are other activities planned as well related to Chinese culture and the Moon Festival, including a Moon Cakes display (Moon Cakes are the tradition 'dessert' of the Moon Festival and very much steeped in ancient Chinese tradition); demonstrations of the Chinese Tea Ceremony; tradition Chinese dance, singing, and of course, a lion dance.
