Congratulations Dancers, Kirkwood families, and friends - what a fabulous year we have had!

All Kirkwood students, young and old, perform at the Port Theatre at the end of their final term of dance. Our amazing faculty choreograph original dances that the students learn and practice over the course of the year. In full costume, make-up and character, Kirkwood students confidently perform their dance for you, our valued audience, in one of three shows held on June 1st at the beautiful Port Theatre.

Kirkwood Academy provides the opportunity for dancers to participate in graded exams for Tap(ISTD), Modern (ISTD) and Ballet(RAD). Our students are also able to perform in many festivals with both group and solo choreography and to participate in musical theatre and ballet productions plus join our Youth Dance Company or enhanced dancer 'Day Academy Program'. The Kirkwood philosophy is to instill a love of dance and music to our students and to provide life skills and confidence that they will use forever.
