Get musical with the Maritime Museum of British Columbia! MMBC programmers Kate Humble and Kirby Delaney will take you on a fun and tuneful journey through the music, dance and art of sailors from centuries past. Try to blow a pipe whistle, dare to dance a hornpipe jig and create your very own sea shanty using fun (and occasionally silly) nautical words and tunes! Get hands-on with hardtack and cannonballs, and learn to tie shipboard knots. But be warned, you’ll probably leave singing!
Register for just one day or sign up for the entire month!
Every Wednesday and Thursday for the month of November. Choose the day that works best for you, there will be a new program to experience every week!
