During this recital, acclaimed classical and improvisational pianist Serge Mazerand shares with you favourite classical compositions such as Nocturnes and an Etude by Chopin, Impromptus by Schubert, A song without words by Mendelssohn, the Serenade and the Consolation #3 by Liszt, and more, including his signature arrangement, Clair de Loon, a coming together of Beethoven and Debussy around the Clair de Lune and the Moonlight Sonata adagio. Serge also likes to improvise in the moment what has been hailed as a musical stream of consciousness. Between all this, as the author of an award-winning book, 7 Keys to Serenity, Serge might just allow himself a few inspiring insights about creating inner peace in our busy lives.
