Afrique En Cirque is a highly colourful acrobatic creation from Kalabanté Productions that symbolizes the strength, agility and joy of life found in African youth. A handful of daring acrobats, accompanied by musicians, perform authentic choreography to the frantic rhythm of the djembes of Guinea. To the melodious sound of the Kora, artistic director and creator Yamoussa Bangoura, transports us to a place where the diversity of traditional African arts is radiated, combined with the virtuosity of modern North American cirque performances.
