NATURAL HISTORY NIGHT - Victoria Natural History Society
The Juan de Fuca Forest lands, extending from Sooke to Port Renfrew, lie at Victoria’s doorstep. Join Nitya Harris and Saul Arbess as they explain how this forest is important for bio-diversity, recreation, and local jobs, and how it can enable CRD citizens to address climate change. However, urbanization and intensive unsustainable logging threaten this forest.
NOTE: Book Sale – by donation, throughout November at evening presentations. To eliminate delays in starting the meeting proper, if you are interested in books, come early, preferably by 7:10.
