with a wealth of experience and talent as well as his first solo album, "The Arborist", he sits ready for the championship rounds.

Davenport is a Canadian Rock band, formed in Shawnigan Lake, BC in 2011. Founded by guitarist, vocalist & writer Peter Day the band came about as a continuation of the local Victoria Band Blacklight. Soon after Peter began writing, he recruited band-mates drummer/twin brother Patrick Day, keyboardist Matt Newton, and bassist Ian Lougheed "Snake Eyes" to form what is now Davenport. Davenport also consists of the on stage presence of Sam Weber, Kelli Kraft and some times Adam Sutherland and Lindsay Bryan. Former memebers include Solomon Krause-Imlach and Danny Moisan. Davenport�s sound and feel is reminiscent to 1980s Seattle Alt-Rock but leans towards a more melodic feel with deliberate drum beats, trailing vocals, drawn-out keys and lingering guitar riffs that oft seem airy or even ethereal. Some have described this sound as �Grunge if it took a shower.�
