JOY!! Freedom Gospel Choir Concert With guest Maureen Washington

JOY is a joint concert with the Victoria and Duncan Freedom Gospel choirs and guest soloist Maureen Washington. Each choir will sing their own selection of songs ranging from spirituals to gospel, African and jazz tunes and then combine their voices to form a mass choir of 90 voices. Maureen Washington will join the choirs and sing a few solo tunes.
The theme is JOY. and will feature songs such as Happy Days Are Here Again, Sit Down Servant, Elijah Rock, Joyful, joyful from Sister Act, At The Table, Hlonolofatsa and more. the choirs are directed by Ann Antonides and accompanied by Tanya Gillespie who also composes for the choir. Cara McCandless and Sheri Clayton will also be assisting on bass and percussion.
