Joan Wallace and The Martys are back for the summer concert in the park series. Bring your lunch, relax, and enjoy their diverse sound of jazz, blues, and pop. Joan Wallace on vocals is joined by Marty Steele on keyboard, and Marty Howe on flute and blues harmonica. Hear their unique arrangements of jazz standards like All Blues, or great blues songs like Stormy Monday.

If you like Pop, Joan does Stand By Me, and Natural Woman. Her version of Walkin' After Midnight is not to be missed. The guys do fabulous instrumentals, with some originals by Marty Steele.

Joan has an extensive professional background, and a love of many genres of music.

Marty Steele plays keyboard base alongside electric keyboard, so the group actually sounds like a quartet. Marty Howe has become one of Nanaimo's foremost blues harmonica players, but his subtle touch with the flute is excellent.

All in all, this group has something for everyone, so don't miss them!
