For Canada’s 150th year, Rivercity Players presents Jenny’s House of Joy, by Canadian playwright Norm Foster. He describes the play as a western rather than a comedy. While the one liners are plentiful, the play has serious undertones. Set in the parlor of a whorehouse in Baxter Springs, Nebraska, this play takes an inside look at the oldest profession. These dynamic, colourful characters explore their relationships with each other and the outside world.
