For ten long years, Michael Tension toured across with his band Jeffery Sez. From local punk shows to a feature on MTV, the band played their hard rock/punk music across Canada. But like most bands, they eventually broke up, due to fatigue, overconsumption, and unpaid rent. Over the last decade, Tension has paid the bills with his creative talents. If you've seen the hit show PORTLANDIA, you've already seen his work. His typography was used in the show, as well as downloaded over 3 million times on the inter-webs. He is the co-creator of Hipster Bait, an interactive music discovery project that won first place in the international Emerging Media Contest. He�s kicking ass, smashing hipster harps and ukuleles, and remembering old names.
