First Unitarian 5th Anniversary Celebration of Spirited Jazz Vespers. Sunday, June 16th marks the 5th anniversary celebration of Spirited Jazz Vespers at the First Unitarian Church of Victoria. And celebrate we will with a double header...
Join in the pre-Vespers fun at 6:30 PM in the Sanctuary as you listen, snap your fingers, munch, spi or dance to our own House Band with David Vest on Piano & Vocals, Bradley Clarke on Drums, Gary Theal on Guitar and guest Ryan Tandy on Bass with a full-on 60 minutes Jazz Jam Session.
Enjoy scrumptious hors d'oeuvres and a tantalizing glass of sparkling wine (a supplementary cash bar also available) as you soak up the festivities.
Then, at 8 PM our official 5th anniversary Spirited Jazz Vespers takes over with the incomparable David Vest Quartet on stage, in concert. The Reverend Shana will officiate this musical take on our continuing Theme of Celebration with David Vest on Piano & Vocals, Ryan Tandy on Bass, Tom Bowler on Guitar and Damian Graham on Drums.
Your admission of $45 includes the complete evening's festivities and donation to Jazz Vespers.
