Oak Bay United Church is very excited to be hosting Ivan Coyote as they present “Somewhere over the rainbow sticker”, an evening for faith communities seeking to support and advocate for the LGBTQ+ community.
Join Ivan Coyote, storyteller and author of 12 books, and a 27 year veteran of the road and the stage, in a heartfelt and memorable performance written to move us beyond simply putting up a rainbow sticker on the door, and giving us the tools and language to work towards building authentically inclusive and safe(r) spaces that truly welcome queer and trans people into our congregations.
Tickets on sale only at the OBUC church office (cash/cheque, Tues-Fri 9am-3pm).
We expect this event to sell out, so don’t miss out! For a mature audience, 13 years and up recommended. $20/ $15 students.
