Island Voices launches their second Christmas CD. Come join us to welcome this festive season, hearing our Christmas favourites from our new CD. We look forward to sharing our music with you.

Since its creation in 1997 Island Voices Chamber Choir has been committed to "singing excellent music excellently". Until her passing in 2006, the choir was guided by its founding conductor, Frances Keen. During her final illness, she shared these duties with soprano Jo-Anne Preston, who has carried the Island Voices� baton ever since.
For the last 16 years, Island Voices has been expanding its repertoire and building a loyal following in its home communities of Campbell River, the Comox Valley and the nearby islands.
Comprised of 18 singers from Quadra and Vancouver Islands, the choir meets weekly to rehearse in the small but centrally situated community of Black Creek. Milestones in the choir�s growth have been participation in the 1998 BC Chorfest as a �core� choir, second place finishes in the Chamber Choir category in the international choral festival Kathaumixw in 2000 and 2008, and the release in 2005 of the Island Voices� second CD. A second Christmas CD will be released in November 2013
Island Voices typically performs two major concerts each year as well as appearing in numerous community and charity events.
