Experience the excitement of World Class Championship Ballroom & Latin Dancing – right here in Nanaimo!

The Nanaimo Ballroom Dance Society is proud to be hosting the Island Fantasy Ball at the Beban Park Social Centre. Over two days, couples of all ages and all levels of ability will compete in the Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Cha Cha, Rumba, Jive, and more.

The Island Fantasy Ball is an exciting and glamorous weekend of Ballroom & Latin Dancing at its finest. This annual event is one of the largest international dance competitions in BC, and we invite you to attend and cheer on your favorite couples as they compete in both Latin and Ballroom events. Dancers of all ages and all levels of ability will be on the floor to show off their skills, musicality and imagination.

World ranking dancers together with the best from Canada will also be coming to compete for top prizes. Performance showcases by highly skilled couples will entertain you. With dances from the hot and sexy cha-cha or rumba, to the smooth and elegant foxtrot and waltz, there is something to please every dance enthusiast in your family.

Included in the Saturday evening schedule is an optional catered dinner with expanded seating capacity, and the opportunity for General Dancing for our valued guests.
