Island Band Festival 2019

The Greater Victoria Concert Band is once again hosting an Island Band Festival at the Mary Winspear Centres, Bodine Family Hall on April 6, 2019. There will be 6 hours of continuous music from the 5 Concert Bands and 2 Big Bands, with the first group starting at 10:00am.
The groups performing this year are:
The Bayside Big Band
The Naden Band of the Royal Canadian Navy's Pacific Blue Stage Band
The GVCB Senior Ensemble
GVCB Intermediate Band
The Nanaimo Concert Band
The Sidney Concert Band
The Westshore Concert Band
This is a great chance to hear what Community Bands on our Island are doing, and to hear the fantastic Big Band from Naden! Come and go as you like or stay all day.
Tickets are $10.00 at the door, students free.
Tea, Coffee and Treats by donation.
