Maintaining our natural areas and restoring the integrity of our native ecology depends on you. Join our invasive species work parties with other like-minded individuals. Please pre-register, wear sturdy shoes and bring gloves if you have them. Also be sure to mark down the 2 drop zone dates. 


Bring your invasive plants to the Drop Zones for proper disposal. Homeowners can bring bagged or tarped invasives to the drop zones on Sunday, April 22 at Bowen Park (off Wall Street) and Saturday, May 26 at Beban Park from 11 am to 3 pm.

Saturday, April 21 from 10 am - 12 pm Broombusters Work Party at Tourism Info Centre (Register using barcode 162445)


Sunday, April 22 from 11 am - 3pm DROP ZONE for homewoners to bring their invasive plants from their property for proper disposal. Located at Bowen Park lower parking lot off Wall Street.

Sunday, May 6 from 10 am - 12 pm Broombusters Work Part at Beban Park (Register using barcode 162449)


Saturday, May 12 from 10 am - 12 pm Broombusters Work Party at Linley Point Gyro Park (Register using barcode 163168)


Saturday, May 26 from 10 am - 12 pm Broombusters Work Pary at Linley Point Gyro Park and 1-3 pm Broombusters Work Party at Beban Park (Register using barcode 162450)


Saturday, May 26 from 11am - 3pm BEBAN PARK DROP ZONE for homeowners to bring their invasive plants from their property for proper disposal.
