Intuitive Tarot Workshop

In this workshop, you will:

- Learn basic themes and archetypes within tarot and oracle decks

- Participate in group and solo activities that help you trust what you already know and turn that information into meaningful readings for yourself and others

- Learn how to frame your questions and hone your intent

- Learn the difference between mind information and body/spirit knowing

- Gather with community

- Enjoy light snacks and refreshments

The tarot is a map of the Self. It’s a collection of archetypes that reflect human behaviours, patterns, desires, aspirations, and follies. It is a way for us to talk to ourselves and the universe and find hope, bring about learning and change, and course correct when needed.

The tarot itself is not a self-aware entity. Each deck is just that, a stack of cards. When we use the tarot, we are essentially allowing our soul or innermost being to communicate with our thinking mind. This allows us to draw from our own intuition and inner knowing and reflect it back to us in a way the mind can understand.

In addition, the classic tarot is just one way in which humanity has found a way to connect with Source and Self. In China there is the I-Ching or the Book of Changes. First Nations communities draw meaning and understanding from our relatives in nature. Nordic traditions used Runes. In other words, in every corner of the world people have found meaning through their connection to the natural world, and divination.

Learning the tarot, or any divination tool, can take a lifetime, but we can also glean information from any deck by tapping into our intuition, trusting our gut, and understanding basic themes and archetypes.

And that’s exactly what we will be doing with this 4-hour Intuitive Tarot Workshop at the Loft Studios in Mill Bay on September 26.

Bring your own deck/s, or use one of mine, and gather with a lovely group of people as we learn to play, trust ourselves, and tap into a deeper understanding of where we are going and what the universe is asking us to pay attention to.
