From the local company that brought you hits such as GUYS AND DOLLS (2017), JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR (2019) and THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW (2022), Three Legged Dog Productions Society is overjoyed to be finally fulfilling our Spring Production again. The pandemic has been almost impossible to survive but we are forging forward with resilience, innovation and unfailing love and belief in the arts to heal. We wish to thank our volunteers and supporters for their years of commitment. So let’s try this again! March 2023 we couldn’t be more thrilled to share with the Comox Valley audiences. INTO THE WOODS: an epic musical adventure with familiar characters and stories of several Brothers Grimm fairy tales that features magnificent music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by James Lapine. Each character has just one wish: the Baker and Baker’s wife long for a child but cannot conceive, Jack desperately wishes his cow Milky White would once again provide milk so he wouldn’t have to sell her, and Cinderella dreams of attending the King’s ball and someday being free of her cruel stepmother and step-sisters. All their tales lead them on a journey to the woods and become intertwined, dreams come true and wishes are granted. Though happiness comes with consequence and the characters are forced to band together to save their world. With a stellar artistic team collaborating locally, we know you will be captivated in this production and the story you will not want to miss.
