A Flurry of Fairytales find out what happens after ‘happily ever after’
Malaspina Theatre at VIU presents the Sondheim spellbinding classic tale of a Baker and his Wife wound together in a mess of different fairy tales all intertwined in the woods.
Cinderella, red riding hood, Rapunzel, Jack and his beanstalk, a couple of princes together with a wicked stepmother and a witch all mixed together to present a hysterical and brilliant journey.
This production features the students of the theatre and music departments alongside members of the community and a live orchestra with stage direction by Tamara McCarthy and musical direction by Dean Boland.
The show opens March 1st at 7:30 pm and tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for students and seniors.
