International Women's Day Feminist FilmFest

The International Women's Day Feminist FilmFest is Thursday, March 8, from 2:30 - 4 pm in Bldg 180, Theatre 134 at the Nanaimo campus.
The event is presented by the VIUFA Status of Women and the VIU Department of Sociology. Discussions will follow the screenings. Every one is welcome to attend.
Films to be screened:
Girls by Diane ObomSawim, eight minutes;
Hide and Seek by Garth Kravits and Lia Chang, four minutes;
Eleven by Sonia Madrid and Maria Guerra, 13 minutes;
Girl's Talk by Mayye Zayed, four minutes;
Sexual Minorities and Development by Phil Crehan and Jake Fagan, 11 minutes;
Feminin Masculin by Sadaf Foroughi, nine minutes;
and Beyonce, 11 minutes.
