UNESCO’s International Mother Languages Day is an important anniversary to promote the preservation and protection of all languages used by peoples of the world.
At this event, The Importance of Indigenous Languages, you will take a closer look at the Royal BC Museum’s Our Living Languages exhibition, examining the diversity of First Nations languages in British Columbia and hear from panellists about the value of learning, teaching and sharing Indigenous languages.
