INTERNATIONAL GUITAR NIGHT (IGN) brings together the world�s foremost acoustic guitarists to perform their latest original compositions and exchange musical ideas in a public concert setting. Each tour, IGN founder Brian Gore invites a new cast of guitar luminaries to join him for special evenings of solos, duets and quartets that highlight the virtuosity and diversity within the world of acoustic guitar.
For 2013-2014, IGN founder Brian Gore will be joined by Italy's Pino Forastiere, Mike Dawes from England, and Quique Sinesi from Argentina. Pino is revered in contemporary steel string guitar circles for his unique mix of melody, improvisation and hand percussion using the strings, the fretboard and the body of the guitar. In recent years Mike Dawes has helped spearhead the current wave of UK fingerstyle guitarists. Quique is a master of many South American melodies and rhythms on both buitar and charango. We are looking forward to a particularly inventive evening of contemporary guitar music.
