This summer New York-based Fair Trade Trio will be touring the Pacific Northwest. They will make their Oak Bay debut concert at St. Mary’s Church on Friday July 17th.
The three founding members of the trio, Ashley Windle (violin), Kallie Ciechomski (viola), and Jeanette Stenson (cello) all attended the Manhattan School of Music, and over the past five years their relationships as colleagues and friends culminated into taking their trio onto their very first tour.
They will perform music by Beethoven, Heitor Villa-Lobos, Canadian composer Murray Adaskin, and New York composer Jennifer Higdon.
