2010 Juno nominees, Robyn Hardy (Bobs) and Lorraine Pond (LoLo) first met at a summer camp when they were kids, and they knew right away that they had lots in common - they both loved the outdoors and they both loved to sing!
The first place Robyn and Lorraine ever sang together was around a campfire. Soon after, they started singing together at school. Then they started singing together after school. They sang in choir, they sang at home, they sang in the car and while they are no longer little kids, Robyn and Lorraine are still singing today.
Performing as Bobs & LoLo, Robyn and Lorraine write and sing about things they love - nature, friendship and family.
Growing up together on the west coast of Canada, Robyn and Lorraine always shared a love of the natural world and a passion for working with children. Creating the children's performance duo Bobs & LoLo has allowed them to combine their diverse academic backgrounds with a mutual love of teaching and the creative arts.
Bobs & LoLo are dedicated to connecting children to the natural world with music, movement and make-believe. Sharing musical stories that engage, inspire and educate, they teach kids to care about themselves, their neighbours and the planet.
