Join us for a series of four gatherings to learn introductory Hul’q’umi’num with Snuneymuxw language champion Adam Manson. Receive a language booklet and basic instruction including respectful everyday uses of Hul’q’umi’num. Sessions will be recorded as a resource for further practice and include a fun hands-on activity to create our own flashcards, posters, and materials that can be used to support language learning in any setting. By embracing Hul’q’umi’num in our community, we learn more about this place and contribute to revitalizing a language threatened with extinction.
