A  hilarious evening featuring four female comedians: Katie Ellen, Brynn Peebles, Alicia Tobin and host Erica Sigurdson. This rib-tickling event is a fun raiser for CWAV.

ERICA SIGURDSON

Perhaps best known from her rapier wit on CBC Radio's The Debaters, Erica Sigurdson is also nationally recognized as one of the top comedic talents in Canada. In 2013 alone, she was invited to record an amazing five televised appearances at The Winnipeg Comedy Festival, The Halifax Comedy Festival and the world-famous Montreal Just For Laughs Festival which are currently airing on national television.

Erica Sigurdson is not only a twice-nominated standup comedian for Best Female Standup in Canada, but also a Leo Award winning writer for her work on The 21st Annual Gemini Awards with co-writer Peter Kelamis. In addition to appearing a record 29 times on the CBC Radio smash hit The Debaters, Erica can be heard on CBC Radio's The Current as well as Definitely Not The Opera. In 2013 alone, Erica was invited to perform at The Vancouver Comedy Festival, The Winnipeg Comedy Festival, The Halifax Comedy Festival and the world famous Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal. As well as being a club favourite across the coast, Erica is in high demand for conferences and corporate functions where she showcases her 'sugar-coated razor blade' observations about life. She has traveled as far north as Alert, Nunavut to entertain the Canadian Forces as well as to Kandahar Airfield to entertain our troops.

KATIE-ELLEN HUMPFRIES

Katie-Ellen charms audiences with her sharp wit, unique voice and engaging stories (to say nothing of her dimples). A featured performer at The Bridgetown Comedy Festival, San Francisco Sketchfest, Vancouver Global Comedy Festival and The Bumbershoot Music & Arts Festival, Katie-Ellen has made a name for herself across the country and beyond as an emerging comedy talent. Recent TV appearances include “The Funny Pit” with host Roman Danylo (CMT), “She Kills Me” (APTN) and the upcoming Winnipeg Comedy Fest Gala “Food, Glorious Food” (CBC Television).

ALICIA TOBIN

"Alicia Tobin is extremely funny, when telling jokes or just talking. She has a sharp, sensitive comic sensibility that makes you want more"- Rob Delaney, Famous Person

Comedian, writer, and Registered Holistic Nutritionist working in beautiful and wet Vancouver, British Columbia. Alicia started performing stand up in 2007 and now has her own show called Alicia Tobin’s Come Draw With Me. She’s fun to talk to at parties, but can’t eat gluten so tends to hover around the cheese plate protectively. She wakes up most days agape at the beauty of the natural world and has almost missed her bus to work because of a particularly beautiful squirrel.

BRYNN PEEBLES

Brynn Peebles is a comedian and actress, known for Tucker (2009), Level Up! (2009) and Cheaters(2010).
