How to Survive the Holidays with Inner Peace

Are you seeking a more peaceful and less stressful way to experience the December holidays? Counsellor and Hypnotherapist Sharon McCann invites the public to attend a free workshop on November 20 to find out how.
There is an assumption that holidays are full of happiness and loving connection with family and friends. Everywhere are images and messages that promise joy and excitement. But such promises don’t always match our real experiences. Holidays can be filled with loneliness, scarcity and overwhelm. Even if you have family to share holidays with, there can be the stress of preparation. The very lack of happiness during this time can result in sadness and confusion about one’s own worthiness to have the happiness that everyone else appears to enjoy.
In this workshop you will discover a simple and effective technique to be with your feelings in a safe way. You may discover what you really feel about the holidays, what you really need, and possible options that you can choose. Perhaps you can shift from just surviving the holidays to finding inner peace.
This free 2-hour workshop takes place on Monday, November 20, 6:30 - 8:30 pm, downtown Courtenay. You must register in advance by November 19 because space is limited to 10 participants.
