The evening’s concert unfolds through the lens of a new, original Christmas tale that is accompanied by the band; a tale of a young woman who longs to find her one-and-only love at Christmastime, but she fears that she may never find true love.
As the tale evolves, so does the band. The music drives the story! With trained actors and a full stage set surrounding the band, it’s a unique and exciting new concert format.
Joined by alumni of the VIU Theatre Program and the VIU Jazz Program, we are honored to present you with a heartwarming story of love, longing, and strength. This holiday season, we invite you to come “home”.

Tasha Adams on bass, Elysia Biro on piano, Daniel Sim on saxophone, Joshua Holloway on vocals, and Adam Robertson on drums with Jacob Reeves as the narrator and Jocelyn Isabel as the leading lady.
