This Saturday, residents are invited to a Kraft Hockeyville Celebration at Panorama Recreation Centre, during which the grand prize winner will be announced.

Panorama Recreation Centre is in the running to win Sportsnet’s Kraft Hockeyville 2015, a title that includes the opportunity to host an NHL® Pre-Season Game. By making the Top 2 as the western finalist, Panorama Recreation Centre has already received $100,000 to fund arena improvements.

The celebrations run from 9am-5pm and include a pre-game breakfast and tailgate party. The grand prize winner will be announced at the start of the Toronto vs. Boston game during hockey night in Canada on April 4, 2015. Game starts at 4pm PST.

Pancake Breakfast 9-11am (with Easter Puck Hunt)
Tailgate Party 1-5pm (BBQ, entertainment, family activities)
Advanced seating, live cut ins and announcements 3pm
Winner announced between 3pm and 4pm
Hockey Night in Canada broadcast live 4pm

Limited parking will be available at Panorama Recreation Centre and nearby at Kelset Elementary (off Forest Park Drive). Shuttle service will be provided from Rotary Park (Field of Dreams) and McTavish Interchange Park and Ride. Residents are encouraged to take public transit or use the shuttle service provided. Shuttle service is available from 12:30-6:30pm.
