MADCHILD:
Shane Bunting aka Madchild of Vancouver based Swollen Members, was on a kamikaze run with the drug oxycontin (a synthetic form of heroin) that had pushed him to the brink of oblivion. His left arm was completely numb, his lips had turned purple, and he was standing on death’s’ doorstep as his body finally gave up from three straight years of opiate abuse. Madchild’s girlfriend panicked and immediately rushed him to emergency room in a race against the clock.
After successfully battling for his life that night, Madchild had finally hit rock bottom. His drug addiction had spiraled out of control and destroyed everything the successful emcee had worked so hard to build with his platinum hip-hop group Swollen Members. The fancy cars, lavish houses and rock star luxuries were all gone, as his addiction had consumed nearly 3 million dollars worth of assets and finances in just over three years. Throughout the next year as he struggled to take back his life from prescription pills, Madchild discovered his personal sanctuary in the arms of his music.
Clean from drugs for the first time in his adult life, Madchild removed himself from temptation by bunkering down in his home studio secluded from the outside world. For the next 10 months, Madchild feverishly wrote and recorded his first ever solo album “Dope Sick”. The album was inspired by Madchild’s battle with addiction and offers fans an open look at the cold realities of drug abuse. The album shows Madchild back on the top of his game spitting venom like a caged beast on everything from his addiction and his recent ban from the United States, to the current state of hip-hop.
SIRREAL:
Sirreal is an original hip hop artist bringing hard hitting beats and lyrical talent to every performance. As an entertainer Sirreal knows how much hard work and dedication it takes to be one on Vancouver Islands’ best. Born in Comox, BC and currently holding it down for Nanaimo, this hip hop phenomenon takes full advantage of today’s technology wrangling his army of fans via internet, music videos, albums, concert promotions and constant hustle.
Just like the music industry, the life of this rising star has not been easy. Devastated by the untimely death of both his father and older brother, Sirreal learned to stand as a man conquering his demons of addiction and poverty, and now instead of drugs Sirreal boldly laces his lyrics with the die hard truths of reality and its consequences whether they be positive or negative.
Sirreal’s musical style bridges all genres of music by blending truthful hard-hitting lyrics with a live touring stage band by the name of Blue Satellite. A Perfect fit for any lineup, you may be surprised at what these guys can do.

He continues to shine with over 50 shows on Vancouver Island. Opening for such artists as Tech Nine, Royce Da 5″9, Bone Thugs N Harmony, B Real of Cypress Hill, Heavy Metal Kings (Vinny Paz and Ill Bill), Masta Ace, Bif Naked, The Beatnuts, Daniel Wesley, Moka Only, Mad Child, Sweatshop Union, and Juno award winning rap artist Belly, just to name a few.
With great determination and gratitude, Sirreal’s “Self Centred” album has been released independently and will be showcased on many upcoming shows and music videos in the next few months, with dates all across Vancouver Isle and the mainland. Having Recently linked up with his live band Blue Satellite ; Sirreal’s stage show has definitely taken it to another level.

DJ All Good (Peter Poole) is Vancouver Island’s Premier DJ. Starting out rocking houseparties in high school, All Good carries a fun loving, anything goes type of style that always pleases. Love of great music is the foundation that his DJ house is built upon.
“My DJ style is “turntablism” which is about techniques (sampling, blends, cutting etc.) applied to music using turntables. Instead of being genre specific (hip hop, rock, house etc.) I can play any type of music with the flair of a performing artist. My Philosophy is to select choice sounds, chop and mix using turntablist techniques, and serve hot & fresh on two vinyl platters.”
DJ All Good has repeatedly proven his skills in battle, most recently placing 2nd in the 2013 Western Canada DMC finals and 2nd in the 2009 Canadian National DMC finals. Another testament to his party rocking skills is placing runner-up in Victoria’s Redbull 3style battle in 2008. All Good has been invited to jam sessions with world champion Djs, including Q-bert DJ Woody and Vinroc. A highlight of his career was the chance to act as a guest teacher at Jam Master Jay’s Scratch Academy in New York City. Quickly becoming the next big thing on the scene, DJ All Good is not to be missed!
Having proven himself on national and international stages, his next big project is known as “the TURNTEMPLE.” this portable, solar powered mixstation travels to music festivals, schools, and communities with a hands on approach to the preservation of vinyl based DJing techniques.
