Hexagonal Woven Baskets Workshop

Baskets for flower arranging are found in all shapes and sizes in Japan. One of the most common weaving techniques used for these baskets is open hexagonal weaving. Using cane, Joan Carrigan, will teach three variations of this weave, each using progressively more elements. Two variations will be hanging wall baskets and then a free standing basket. Random overlay can be incorporated as a design choice.
All materials included. Tools to Bring: Scissors, measuring tape, ruler, mini clips with no teeth, an old towel.
