Our tribute to Hermann celebration begins with Dixieland and swing by CanUS, and a Memorabilia Show & Tell event.
Our Sunday afternoons have always been host to Dixieland jazz music dancing so in that spirit we kick it up with the roots of Hermann’s Jazz Club, featuring:
Doug Rhodes (saxes), Tom Ackerman (clarinet), Mike Broadley (trumpet), Joey Smith (bass), Don Leppard (drums) and Avram McCaugherty (banjo).
We are asking everyone to bring their favourite pictures, memories, or objects to share the stories of Hermann and the Club. The family will also bring bits by so people can help sort the history and significance of pieces collected over three decades.

6 pm Dixieland Funeral
We will have an impromptu jazz parade/processional on View Street.

6:30 pm Musicians
All of the “10,000 bands” that Hermann worked with over the years are invited to come for a happy hour celebration and jam session hosted by Kelby MacNayr.
