Helping Hands Fundraiser

A group of local youth have come together through a program called Youth Take Action to create an art project that helps fundraise, and raise awareness for Volunteer Comox Valley. “Helping Hands” will be nine, large wooden letters that spell out the word “Volunteer”. Each letter will be painted using the hand prints of volunteers and supporters in our community. In exchange for a small donation (suggested 3$) YOU can help make this project come to fruition.
On Saturday, March 4th from Noon – 4pm, stop by the Volunteer Comox Valley parking lot (Unit C 450 8th street) and lend YOUR hand towards making this art project a success. Youth take action is a local workshop series open to all youth ages fourteen to eighteen that helps to develop leadership skills, and to provide education on global issues. This project has been entirely dreamed, planned and implemented by local youth looking to make a difference.
