Ken Nentwig, the educational director of CANARM- the Canadian Association for Rainwater Management, will teach: what is rainwater management, why is it important and how can an individual homeowner benefit and make a difference in the Greater Victoria Area. Catchment, storage and the uses of rainwater for irrigation, car washing, fountains & ponds will be discussed & demonstrated. Sample systems will be displayed and the pros and cons discussed. Materials required: a calculator, pen and paper.
